South Creake itself is a pretty village that follows the River Burn, is a Conservation Area and still retains parts of the Bloodgate Hill Fort.  There are some fantastic rural walks, fishing lakes, a brilliant new Cafe and Farm Shop at Creake Abbey and the quite wonderful Crab Shed where you can buy fresh crabs, lobster and samphire.
